Twelve Years on the Show Floor: BidWrangler Heads Back to C&S

We have been to a lot of Conference & Shows. This July in San Antonio will mark our twelfth straight year at the NAA Conference & Show, and somewhere in that stretch the event stopped feeling like a trip and started feeling like a reunion.

We first showed up in 2014. Back then we were the new name on the floor, explaining who we were and what we did to anyone who would slow down long enough to listen. We did not have the client list we have now. We did not have the track record. What we had was a belief that auctioneers deserved technology built around how they actually work, and a willingness to stand in a booth all week and prove it one conversation at a time.

A dozen years later, the conversations are different. People stop by because they already use BidWrangler, or because a friend told them to come find us, or because they have watched us grow up alongside the industry and want to see what is next. That shift, from introducing ourselves to picking up where we left off, is the part we are proudest of. You don't earn that in one good year. You earn it by showing up, again and again, and doing right by the people who trusted you early.

That is really why we keep coming back. C&S is where this whole thing started for us, and it is still where we do some of our best thinking. The auctioneers we meet on that floor tell us what is working, what is broken, and what they wish their software did. A lot of what we have built over the years traces straight back to a hallway conversation or a booth visit in some convention center. We do not take that for granted.

This year we are proud to return as a Platinum Sponsor. Sponsorship is our way of putting weight behind the organization that has done so much for this industry and for us. The NAA invested in events like this long before we had the means to give back, and now that we can, we want to. Twelve years in, supporting the show that helped build us is not a marketing decision. It is just the right thing to do.

We are also walking in with a little extra momentum this year. In May, we hosted BidWrangler Thrive, our first client conference, and getting our own community together in one room reminded us exactly why these gatherings matter. There is a kind of energy you only get face to face, watching people connect, trade ideas, and walk away fired up. Thrive gave us a fresh dose of that, and we are bringing it with us to San Antonio.

If you have known us for a while, come say hello and tell us how your season is going. We genuinely want to hear it. If you are newer to the industry, or you have heard the BidWrangler name and never had the chance to put a face to it, this is the week. Pull up a chair. Ask the hard questions. Tell us what your operation needs and let us show you whether we are the right fit. We have never been interested in selling someone software they do not need, and twelve years of repeat conversations is the proof.

What keeps drawing us back, more than anything, is the people. The auction industry is full of folks who work hard, take pride in their craft, and look out for one another. We have watched kids who competed in the junior championship grow into business owners. We have celebrated wins with clients and helped a few of them through tough stretches. Those relationships did not come from a sales funnel. They came from years of being in the same rooms, at the same shows, having the same honest conversations.

Twelve years, and we are still excited to walk in the door. See you in Texas.
