From State Conferences to National Events
To start 2026, BidWrangler has attended state auctioneer association conferences in Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. These events give us a chance to sit down with the auctioneers who use our platform every day, hear what's working, understand what they need, and have real conversations rather than transactional ones. On the national level, we've also been present at the NAA's Digital Marketing Summit, where auction professionals are learning how to grow their businesses through smarter marketing. That kind of education directly benefits the auctioneers we serve, and we want to be part of it.
CAI Next: Supporting the Best in the Business
This April, we're heading to Indiana University in Bloomington as a Gold Sponsor of CAI Next. CAI Next is the advanced education event for graduates of the Certified Auctioneers Institute, held April 1-3, 2026. It's an invitation-only gathering of some of the most accomplished auction professionals in the industry, built around one goal: helping them grow their businesses.
CAI itself is the highest professional designation an auctioneer can earn through the NAA. It's a three-year program held on campus at Indiana University, covering business planning, finance, marketing, technology, ethics, and more. It's not a quick certification. Students commit to more than 120 hours of classroom time spread over three years, plus late nights on committees, business proposals, and projects. The people who earn it have put in serious work. BidWrangler CEO Tim Peters is himself a CAI graduate, so this program has a personal significance for our team beyond the sponsorship.
50 Years of CAI
2026 also marks the 50th anniversary of the Certified Auctioneers Institute. Since 1976, auctioneers from all 50 states and countries around the world have gone through the program. That's 50 years of auction professionals investing in their businesses, their clients, and their industry. It's a milestone worth celebrating, and we're glad to be part of it.
