Thrive 2026

Thrive grey square

We're a couple weeks out from BidWrangler Thrive, and honestly, we're still talking about it.

Ninety clients from across the US and Canada came to Harrisonburg for three days of learning, collaboration, and good conversations. For a first-time conference, that turnout meant a lot to us. These are people running busy auction businesses, and they chose to spend a chunk of May with us in our hometown. We don't take that for granted.

If you weren't able to make it this year, here's a look at what happened and what's next.

The Room Was the Whole Point

When we started planning Thrive, we kept coming back to one question: what would actually help our clients? Not what looks good in a recap reel, but what would genuinely move the needle for the people using BidWrangler every day.

The answer was pretty simple. People wanted time. Time to learn the platform more deeply, time with other auction professionals who understand the work, and time with our team to ask the questions they'd been sitting on. So that's what we built. Watching auctioneers from completely different markets compare notes on workflows was the part we'll remember most.

Learning From the BidWrangler Team

Our team led sessions on the parts of the platform clients use every day, plus the features that often get overlooked. We covered cataloging workflows, tips and tricks for running different types of auctions, auction marketing, and the operational pieces that quietly add up to better auctions. We also got into what's coming, where we're investing, and how we're thinking about the future of the platform.

A lot of clients told us this was the first time they really understood what BidWrangler could do for them. That's a hard thing to deliver over email or a support ticket. It happens in a room.

Learning From Each Other

Some of the best moments at Thrive had nothing to do with us. They happened between clients. Over coffee. At the welcome reception at Pale Fire. In hallway conversations between sessions that ran twenty minutes longer than they should have.

Auctioneers who'd never met were trading notes on staffing, seller onboarding, and how they handle tough auctions. Veterans were mentoring newer operators without being asked. People were genuinely invested in helping each other succeed, even with competitors in the same room. That's the auction industry at its best.

Strengthening Relationships

A lot of our clients have been with us for years. Some we've talked to almost daily but had never actually met in person. Putting faces to names changed something. There's a different kind of trust that gets built when you've shared a meal or laughed through a session together. We want more of that, not just at conferences but in how we work with you year-round.

What's Next

We're already taking notes on what worked, what we want to grow, and what we'd do differently next time. If you came this year, you'll be hearing from us about how you can help shape the next Thrive event. If you didn't make it, start planning now.

We'll also be at NAA Conference & Show this summer in San Antonio where we look forward to seeing many of our clients again soon.

To everyone who traveled, presented, asked great questions, stayed up too late, and made Thrive what it was: thank you. You're the reason we do this.
