Marketing Tip #2: Tell your existing customers
Well, we’ve talked about getting the word out to the digital world (if you missed Tip #1, you can read it here), and today we’d like to cover some ways to share the news of your freshly minted app with your existing customers.
Ever heard of the concept of starting with the low-hanging fruit? That’s the idea here. Tell the bidders and sellers already on your mailing list — or coming to your auctions — about your new tech tool. Although you don't need to work to convert them into customers, it's worth your time to make them more engaged customers (i.e. get them to download and use your new app).
You’ll find a useful letter to help do that in your Dropbox 2 folder. Personalize and use the .doc to announce your app to your customers in letter form. Make sure to use your stationery for the printing.
